guild master
Submitted by squeeke on Wed, 03/25/2009 - 12:52.So as many of you know I have recently had a baby and having a newborn takes up a great amount of time. I have not been able to put the time into the guild that it deserves for quite awhile which has left Parot to pick up all the slack. Since Parot has done such a fantastic job running the guild in my absence I feel it only fair to give the title of Guild Master to him. I have loved running AAS for the last few years and will still be a "Founder". I look forward to getting to know all the new members and catching up with the old ones when I have time to play. Until then good luck in all your guildly adventures.

raids
Submitted by squeeke on Sun, 12/21/2008 - 15:30.Although AAS does not have a full guild group leveled and ready to run raids we do have quite a few 80's anxious to go. If you are one of those level 80's that can't wait to start raiding talk to Parotheadesq and he will start putting together groups and pugging who is needed after the new year. The more people he knows want to go the easier it will be for him to acquire the other people he needs to make a balanced group.

Guild Changes Revealed!!
Submitted by admin on Sat, 11/08/2008 - 20:25.For the expansion we thought it would be fun to give the guild a little overhaul. As you can see the site has been given a face lift and a few minor changes have been made. With the new in game calendar the raid calendar has been removed and the forum has gotten a well deserved reworking. Please participate in the poll about changing the tabard and make sure to visit the forum to let us know what you plan to do in the expansion!
Officers will be starting some fun new guild events including a biweekly "get to know your guildies" interview to be posted here on the site and a monthly screen shot contest. Be on the lookout for more details!!
Should we change the guild tabard for a fresh new look?
Submitted by admin on Sat, 11/08/2008 - 20:25.New guild stuff coming up!!!
Submitted by admin on Mon, 11/03/2008 - 15:53.This coming weekend we will see a full guild overhaul much like the one we did back in March! We thought with how much fun it was to change everything up before, we should do it again for the expansion.
Some of the new things you will see are:
new ranks including rank names and abilities
a guild site makeover with a whole new look and possibly new site features!
Also there will be the announcement of new guild contests and events!
We may even change the tabard again just to give the guild a fully fresh look but thought all of you AAS members should have a say in that one. If you want to cast your vote as to wether or not we should change the tabard you all have to make sure to visit the site again next weekend to participate.
Of course you will also want to check out the sites new look and read the verified changes for the guild when you are here ;)!

Raid Cal
Submitted by squeeke on Thu, 07/24/2008 - 16:11.For those of you that raid I wanted to let you all know that raids are no longer queue only. We needed that feature for a while when raiding was really going strong and we ran out of spots too soon with brand new members signing up, but no longer is this a problem so you can sign up right into confirmed.
Also I wanted to help out those people that I see have problems figuring out how to sign up different characters on the cal. You can have multiple characters on the same raid cal account just like in the game. For each character that you have that wants to sign up for raids you have to
-sign into the calendar on your account
-go to create
-go to character
-enter your characters information
then when you are signing up after you have created your multiple characters you can choose which character is signig up for which raid.
I hope this helps feel free to hit me up in game or send me a PM on the forums if you have any more trouble.
-Squeeke
